Senior IT Business Analyst, Top Financial Institute

Our client, a top financial institute, is looking for a senior IT Business Analyst to conduct a comprehensive business needs analysis and steer project lifecycles to ensure the delivery of robust, high-caliber technological solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business goals and operational priorities by analyzing impacts, collecting detailed needs, crafting tech-based solutions, and guiding teams through transitions.

• Direct project initiatives by defining key stages, building collaborative teams, monitoring task progress, managing resources, addressing challenges, proposing strategies, and ensuring successful project completion.

• Ensure solution reliability through testing, create user-friendly training resources and manuals, and lead informational sessions to ease the adoption of new systems.

• Serve as a technology advisor to IT crews and business colleagues by staying informed on cutting-edge tools, evaluating industry standards, and attending skill-building seminars or workshops.

• Enhance team performance by offering ongoing user assistance and education, aligning efforts with the company’s tech vision, and cultivating positive connections across departments and with external partners.

• Manage supporting tasks such as purchasing, supplier coordination, contract oversight, and financial planning.

• Provide real-time technical support to outside users accessing the organization’s online submission platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an analogous discipline.

• 5 years or above related experience in the financial industry.

• Acute analytical aptitude and stakeholder engagement

• Proficiency in project governance with mastery of methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile)

• Knowledge of Python, Java, Power BI, or AI applications would be an advantage

• Strong communication skills.

• Excellent in English and Chinese.
