Citrix Engineer

Our client, a major financial industry player seeking a skilled and experienced Citrix Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Citrix Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our Citrix infrastructure. Responsibilities:

Design and implement Citrix solutions:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Citrix solutions.

• Design, build, and configure Citrix infrastructure components such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (formerly Netscaler), Citrix Cloud, and other related technologies.

• Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of the Citrix environment.

Maintain and support Citrix infrastructure:

• Perform regular system maintenance, apply patches, and upgrade Citrix components to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor the Citrix environment, proactively identify and resolve issues, and ensure high availability of services.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to the Citrix environment.

Collaborate with IT teams:

• Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Citrix infrastructure with other systems and applications.

• Provide guidance and support to end-users and other IT teams on Citrix-related matters.

• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices related to Citrix systems.

Document and report:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the Citrix environment, including configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and system diagrams.

• Generate reports and provide regular updates on the performance, capacity, and availability of the Citrix infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Citrix Engineer, preferably in the financial industry.

• Strong knowledge of Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing Citrix infrastructure solutions in large-scale environments.

•  Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in Citrix environments.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-driven and able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
