Our client, a leading insurance group is looking for an AS400 Developer in the insurance domain. It would be in the regional role of interacting with various technical departments and businesses.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for system analysis providing technology design, managing the system development life cycle, working with the internal IT development team and vendors
Analyze user requirements, develop, test, and document program changes
Provides maintenance and support
Requirements:
3-5 years of programming experience in RPG, CL, and Cobol under AS400.
Strong Knowledge of relational database design (e.g. DB2).
Experience in ASSET development is preferred.
Knowledge of life/general insurance products and respective work processes would be a great plus.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated multi-tasking abilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines is preferred
Good Communications skills in English.
