Our client, a leading elite hedge fund, is looking for a strong trade support engineer from financial background to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Level 1-3 Desktop support for front office business users including traders, portfolio managers, etc.
– Level 1 application support for trade execution and P&L systems
– Provide Market Data support for the business users as well as making improvement and enhancement by liaising with vendors
– Provide vendor management and maintain long-term relationship with local service providers
– Perform daily system checks as per documented procedures
– Provide 24×7 on-call support duty when necessary

Requirements:
– Financial industry experience an absolute must
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to document/update routine and mission critical information on a consistent basis
– Ability to interact with users across all business units
– Proven track record of being reliable and punctual
– Experience in writing business documents such as functional specs and project status reports
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
– Education: B.S. degree required in computer science, engineering, or related discipline

Desired Skills:
– More than 3 years Technology Support experience in Trading environment
– Knowledge of market data applications (Bloomberg, Reuters)
– Solid understanding of trading and the financial markets
– Excellent PC troubleshooting and bug fixing skills
– Windows Domain support
– Data and voice network support
– Scripting/programming experience with VBA
– Automated Workstation/Software Deployment experience
