Our client, a top-tier global investment bank, is looking for Application Support to work closely with front-office users to support commodity trading applications. They adopt the follow-the-sun model.

Responsibilities:
– Provide applications support across Front Office order management, market data, risk systems, etc.
– Work closely with front office users including traders and quants to provide technical and functional support and root cause analysis
– Manage Application and Infrastructure changes and upgrades.

Requirements:
– 5-10 years of application support experience in the finance industry, ideally in a front-office trading environment.
– Good knowledge of UNIX/ Linux, SQL/ Oracle, and Shell/ Perl. FIX protocol is a plus
– FICC business domain knowledge is a big bonus
– Excellent command of English, good communication, and interpersonal skills. Mandarin/ Japanese/ Indonesian is a plus because the role provides support for different users in the APAC region
– University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
