Our client, one of the leading global cloud computing technology firms, has expanded across Asia and set up datacenters in strategic country locations.  They are now looking for young and energetic engineers to join their team in Hong Kong.  The selected candidates will receive in-depth, hands-on training in a datacenter environment and you gain exposure to how a state-of-the-art Cloud Infrastructure is built and run.

Responsibilities:
– Participate in building, supporting and enhancing a datacenter.
– Rack, build, cable, configure and deploy Servers, Switches, Firewalls, Routers etc in a global environment.
– Troubleshoot and support hardware, network & OS installations/configurations and support tickets.
– Responsible for datacenter support: power, network, cooling.

Requirements:
– At least 1 year of work experience in the technology field. Exceptionally strong graduates (Bachelor or Diploma) will also be considered.
– Experience in PC hardware: building PCs, servers, wiring computers, cabling, networking and OS installation / configuration would be a great plus.
– Keen to learn the latest technology and spend time picking up IT trends and concepts.
– Young, energetic personality and reliable team player.
– Very good communication skills in English.  The role requires the person to talk to regional teams.  Cantonese would be a plus.
– Candidates with lesser qualifications but hands-on experience (eg: building gaming stations, hosting home servers); or a genuine interest in computer hardware will also be considered.
