My client, a leading high frequency trading firm with headquarters in New York, is actively seeking a strong developer to join their Strategy Development team in Singapore. In this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining their next gen cutting edge proprietary low-latency trading algorithms and infrastructure.

The Role:
– The opportunity to implement and improve the performance of strategies
– Work with traders to design new strategies
– Build trading analysis and risk monitoring tools for the desk

Job Qualifications:
– Expert in C++ or Java
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– The drive to learn new technologies and to adapt quickly
– Comfortable working with different technologies
– Experience working with real time/latency sensitive applications a huge advantage
– Experience in distributed and/or highly concurrent systems is a plus
