Our client, a fast-growing technology firm with an international presence, is now very keen to meet with and hire a junior-level Solution Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate is responsible for deploying software products with customizations and configurations, resolving issues with already deployed software products, and serving as a key point of contact for technical issues escalated from the Level 1 support team.

Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the Technical Manager on a range of challenges with existing products as well as a host of new cutting-edge projects.
– Deploy software products with customizations and configurations.
– Provide technical suggestions in line with the client’s business requirements.
– Act as the escalation point for technical issues escalated from the Level 1 support team.
– Update and maintain key technical documentation.

Requirements:
– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or relevant discipline.
– Passionate about IT with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ability to provide analytical insight and multi-task.
– Good knowledge of programming (Python, Java, PHP/Perl, nodejs/javascript, etc.).
– Fluency in English (Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus).
– Knowledge of MySQL or relevant database querying language is a plus.
– DevOps/Docker/AWS experience is a plus.
