We are working with an international retail group globally. They are looking for a strong solution architect to lead their technology change and innovation. Selected candidate will be driving the new technical architecture in Asia.

Responsibilities:
– Define the strategic blueprint, roadmap and principles for the technology group.
– Work with customer, technical team, and business team to understand the business architecture, technical requirements and high-level technical design in retail technology including POS, e-Commerce, and Payment.
– Build a strong relationship with the business stakeholders to design and develop innovative solutions.
– Lead the technical solution design from a high-level perspective. Ability to drive the high-level technical design with the adoptions of innovative technology.
– Aligning the technical designs with the business strategies, with a clear direction in term of customer requirements and business priorities.
– Review Architecture design. Provide detailed solution designs with other global architects.
– Verify detailed solutions where they should be aligning with the business objectives and firmwide technical guideline. 

Requirements:
– Extensive experience with technical architecture.
– Strong experience with retail technology including POS and / or e-Commerce.
– Good understanding and experience in building an Omni-channel retail model.
– Experience with the design and development of web-based systems.
– Experience with SOA and Microservices architecture.
– Understanding of web, mobile and multi-channel application development platform.
– Experience and knowledge of TOGAF. TOGAF / Zachman Certification is preferred.
– Experience with Retail industry is preferred.
