Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for a Software Testing Manager for their large technology delivery. The selected candidate will drive a high-quality testing delivery across core technology platforms, and digital and cloud API services.

Requirements
– Develop and build test strategies for manual, automated, and performance testing which assist the application teams to maintain high-quality software delivery.
– Define and maintain quality assurance guidelines and standards across the whole firm.
– Work with the key business and technology stakeholders in building the required testing strategy and framework.
– Coordinate and liaise with business units, IT, external vendors, and/or project teams to resolve any testing issues or conflicts
– Manage the testing teams on building test plans, testing scripts, and test reports.
– Lead the testing function in the development division and drive testing governance plan for best practices.
– Lead the testing in CI/CD environment.
– Contributes to testing best practices across the firm.
– Manage testing resources across the firm, including in-house testing teams, contractors, external vendors, and offshore resources.

Responsibilities:
– Around 10 years of experience in Testing Management and Test Governance.
– Experience in leading a testing functionality with testing strategy and direction.
– Extensive knowledge of Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Governance, Test Engineering, and agile concepts.
– Strong understanding of QA including SAT, and UAT.
– Experience with at least one hybrid automation modern test framework.
– Hands-on experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
– Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle with expertise in QA processes and methodology, specifically in Agile.
– Experience with various test methods, tools, and toolkits: Functional, Automated, and Performance.
– Understanding of multiple test automation tools and frameworks e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI, UFT, SeeTest Cloud, Eclipse, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
– Hands-on working experience in managing test plans, test cases, and defects using tools including Jira / Xray.
– Strong working experience in an Agile / DevOps environment.
– Excellent communication skills in English.
– Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University
