Our client is an InsurTech SaaS provider, looking for an SRE to join the Technology Team. You will be working with a cross-functional team partnering with members from across APAC. You will be working on cloud-based infrastructure and system capabilities to optimise agile engineering processes.

Job Responsibilities
– Optimize cycle time with CI/CD practices and tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using blue-green deployments, and controlled rollouts
– Make choices that positively impact all of the engineerings and drive development productivity
– Monitor production, staging and test environments
– Navigate your way across a complex and rapidly changing technology landscape and stay on top of industry trends

Job Requirements
– A demonstrable experience in supporting modern, complex customer-facing multi-channel (desktop, mobile, API) web applications
– Expertise in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes
– Experience with production support, application monitoring and capacity planning
– Experience with managing cloud services like AWS, Google Compute Engine or Azure
– Experience with managing containerized applications with Docker/Kubernetes
– Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other similar infrastructure as code toolings
– Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems

These skills are not required but are a plus:
– Working in a startup or agile development environments
– Experience and familiarity with financial services or other mathematically oriented applications
– Experience in managing and monitoring microservices and message stream processing
– Experience with Open API, web security and privacy
– Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Node.js, PostgreSQL
– Experience in managing and monitoring microservices and message stream processing
– Knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage, database and analytics
