Our client, a leading Financial Firm in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior System Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing application programs, providing technical support for credit card software, and participating in the system development life cycle.

Responsibilities:
– Take charge of IT application development functions, including project management, solution evaluation, requirements gathering, system analysis and implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance of banking application systems, in alignment with development standards.
– Collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure the quality and availability of production application systems.
– Lead both the IT Application Development Team and Project Team in the successful implementation of business initiatives.

Requirements:
– Hold a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
– Preferably possess over 6 years of experience in the Banking/Finance industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a project management role.
– Demonstrated working experience in SQL for MSSQL Server and Oracle.
– Proficient in .NET and Java with hands-on experience.
– Familiarity with test and deployment automation CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and Postman.
– Experience with MS Windows Server and Linux, including OS upgrades.
– Proficiency in Microservice and REST API design.
– Knowledge of Credit card workflow is advantageous.
– Previous experience working with vendors is a plus.
– Familiarity with infrastructure areas such as virtual servers, networks, and MQ is a plus.
– Experience with cloud solutions such as AWS and GCP is a plus.
– Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
