Our client is an enterprise with a large application portfolio and platform and is looking for a Senior Release Manager in Hong Kong to drive governance and dependency across its large technology portfolio. They have a sizeable technology team with some of the latest technology delivery including Cloud and Digital Platform.

Responsibilities:
– Define and manage the release and dependency governance framework across its large technology portfolio releases.
– Deliver the Release governance framework to different departments and divisions across the firm.
– Manage and track the IT Release Calendar and Cycles with different IT application platforms and portfolios.
– Manage different release dependencies and highlight the potential implementation risk.
– Manage the knowledge base of the application and provide recommendations for future prevention.
– Communicate with all parties across project plans and changes/
– Lead and Coordinate Go-Live activities.
– Work with the senior IT management on release updates and progresses.

Requirements:
– At least 12 years of experience in software development with an extensive focus on application release management.
– Familiar with CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps development delivery.
– Experience and knowledge of the Cloud are a great plus.
– Proper Software Management experience in routing the issue to the right engineering team to address the known issues.
– Practical background in software engineering principles across software delivery.
– Strong understanding of the whole Software Release Management process.
– A strong problem solver and able to take initiative in solving problems
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese).
– Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University
