My client, a global asset management firm, is actively seeking a strong python developer to join their expanding technology team in Asia. After a very profitable 2022, the firm is looking to strengthen its trading business in APAC.

The Job:
– Work closely with the portfolio research team to develop and integrate new analytics models
– Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
– Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data pipeline, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
– Develop your knowledge in Barra and build factor risk models
– Support and run processes for equity portfolio research and risk management

What you offer:
– Strong experience in Python development
– Possess a computer science or related degree
– Very strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
– Experience in the design and development of enterprise-wide systems across all tiers
– Very strong at business architecture, simplicity in technology design
– Experience in the financial/banking industry (Asset classes like Fixed Income or Equities)
– Front office experience is highly preferred
