Our client, a leading Banking Group, is rapidly expanding their technology team in Singapore and is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage various Cross-border Payment projects. The successful candidate will join a global team and be a part of large-scale expansion and growth.
– Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for cross-border payment IT projects.
– Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
– Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
– Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including developers, analysts, and other relevant stakeholders.
– Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members.
– Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
– Act as the primary point of contact between project teams and stakeholders, including business units and external partners.
– Provide regular project status updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions to stakeholders.
– Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
– Proactively identify and assess project risks and issues.
– Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address potential roadblocks.
– Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
– Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
– Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
– Implement quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality cross-border payment solutions.
– Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the successful integration of external solutions into the cross-border payment ecosystem.
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is a plus.
– Proven experience (10+ years) as an IT Project Manager with a focus on cross-border payment projects / ISO.
– Strong knowledge of cross-border payment systems, including SWIFT, SEPA, and other international payment standards.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– Proficient in project management software and tools.
– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
