Our client, a leading global bank is looking for a seasoned front office C#/WPF/GUI developer to join their EQ DRVT Trading and Market Making teams.

Responsibilities:
– Work directly with front office users (trader, sales, quants) to analyze/understand requirements and translate them into value-added front-end solutions; Design intuitive and highly usable user interfaces based on solid understanding of traders’ usage
– Lead and create intuitive user experience

Requirements:
– Solid C#/.NET experience building mission-critical applications (using WPF and Silverlight)
– Experience with building Front-End GUI’s using .NET (3.0 / 4.0) Framework
– Experience with object-oriented development and multi-threading GUIs in multi-tier architectures
– Experience in high frequency environment and understanding of concurrency issues
– Agile / SCRUM / test-driven experience highly desirable
– Experience in electronic market making and Equity linked / Derivatives / liquid rates / ETF products are desirable
– Tangible experience with MVVM UI pattern is desirable
– Experience with other technologies such as Java/KDB, C++/MFC, SQL would be beneficial but not essential

This role will initially be a 1-year contract with the potential to renew or convert to permanent.
