The RTB team is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of cross-functional and cross-business support activities and being gatekeepers for the production system, linked to the firm’s business strategies, market, and regulatory efforts or infrastructure priorities. The team strives to be a partner in driving stability and availability of the production environment. Our approach is to balance a consistent level of repeatable best practice with a pragmatic delivery approach.

Responsibilities:
– Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Prime Execution production environment
– Ensure stability and availability of mission-critical, time-sensitive, trading systems for two main global businesses operating in APAC: Futures and Quantitative Prime services
– Drive Stability and Efficiency initiatives across the production environment by contributing to the wider Liquid Markets initiatives and pushing adoption within Prime Execution
– Provide incident and problem management; Ensure robust incident/problem approach that produces demonstrable improvement to stability
– Review implementation plans and release documentation
– Be the first point of contact for traders, salespeople and client service groups for any issues or queries around functionality, usage, execution, client flows, latency, pricing and static data.
– Liaise with development teams on a day to day issues, change request, functional improvement & future application

Requirements:
– 5-10 years of experience supporting mission-critical financial systems
– Hands-on experience supporting high-performance exchange/client connectivity platform
– Proven knowledge of FIX protocol is a must
– Deep understanding of linux/unix and networking as it pertains to connectivity systems
– Ability to work well in a cross-disciplined team with minimum supervision
– Pro-active, visionary, thorough, organized and energetic
– Excellent problem solver with a commitment to thorough root cause analysis and business process improvement
– Graduate or equivalent qualification/experience in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
– Low-latency system experience is good to have
– Programming skills (Java/C++) good to have a but not required
– NativeX/FPGA experience preferred
– Some understanding on Colo setup
