What will you be doing?
– Experience in, ultra-low-latency in trading systems
– Leadership quality – Must be able to take on full responsibility for multiple projects.
– Being an SME for Business/Desk and providing estimates for tasks such as design, development, and testing
– Holistic simulation and testing of the trading system.
– Work with the analysis, testing, and operations departments
– Knowledge of code and architecture for reviews
– Interacting with both senior Front Office Trading and Sales side at the C suit’s level across multiple regions

What we’re looking for:
– Extensive experience in Java programming skills to build low latency systems.
– Experience in multithreading using Java on Linux
– Technical skills in Python, Perl in a Linux environment
– Good understanding of Computer Science concepts such as data structures and algorithms

Skills that will help you in the role:
– Experience working with Traders and Desk Heads in an investment bank.
– Advanced expertise in computer networks, computer architecture, and operating systems like Linux.
– Having working experience in using C++ or hardware like FPGAs is a plus.
– Degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience
