Our client, a leading investment company, is looking for an experienced and highly skilled senior data scientist for the new analytics initiatives of the investment platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing AI/ML solutions that support the company’s business objectives. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of data science methodologies and techniques, as well as the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement advanced data analytics solutions that support the business objectives with the use of AI/ML modeling techniques
– Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop customized data solutions to meet their requirements
– Lead data mining and customer analytics initiatives using ML and analytics techniques
– Design and implement advanced analytics models
– Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning and identify opportunities for their application within the business

Requirements:
– Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
– 8+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful data analytics solutions
– Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
– Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
– Experience with a cloud-based data platform is a huge plus
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Experience in the financial industry is a plus, but not required.
