Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for a talented, seasoned application architect with excellent knowledge of best development practices and enterprise level design to join their team.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other technical architects in designing/enhancing the Asia Regulatory platforms
– Ensure best practices / design principles are implemented and strategic technical/business requirements are fulfilled
– Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team to deliver complex solutions
– Provide hands-on code review and development to ensure key, critical modules are built correctly and to guide junior developers
– Build strong relationship with various regional/global IT stakeholders including application developers, project managers, etc

Requirements:
– Proven experience in large-scale application/technical architecture with emphasis on best practices and design principles
– Expertise in one or more of key development languages (Java, C++, C#, etc.)
– Proven experience in Objected oriented development
– In-depth knowledge in broad areas of technologies would be preferred (including application development, messaging/middleware, database, multi-threading, etc.)
– Strong problem solving & analytical skills
– Track record of technical leadership and influence over developers with emphasis on design / best practices
– Be enthusiastic about teaching/guiding junior developers
– Agile/TDD experience is good to have
– Finance experience is good to have but not required
