Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is looking for a Finance Manager with strong business analytic and project management skills to join their regional team.

Responsibilities:
– Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that local/regional business needs are met; Review and update the strategy according to evolving business needs
– Develop/evaluate business plans, case studies and scenario analysis for projects
– Provide business analytics to be used in driving strategy and initiatives; identify and mitigate risk factors
– Collaborate with regional finance committee to achieve priorities in the strategy
– Optimise cost through existing process/cost evaluation, benchmarking, and improvement recommendation
– Ensure appropriate governance over the financial aspect of the projects
– Prepare and manage project budget and forecast. Evaluate financial results and implement improvements on planning and forecasting process
– Prepare regular progress reports on current project status, critical issues and risk to senior management in local and regional offices

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / business administration / management or other related field
– Must be a qualified accountant
– 7 – 10+ years of relevant experience, gained from a Big4 and other financial institutions (insurance/banking etc.)
– Detail-orientated with strong business analytics and financial project management skills (including monitoring, analysis and reporting performance)
– Technical proficiency with Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
– Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact, influence and build cross-functional relationships
– Ability to manage and communicate with multiple teams
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Chinese
– Strong presentation skills
– Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise
– Ability to handle multiple priorities/initiatives to achieve business target in a changing environment
