Our client, a leading life insurance group, is looking for a strong mobile app team lead (manager grade) to manage their digital mobile applications. The selected candidate will be working on exciting products, talented technology people, and innovative ideas across the firm. Great remuneration and opportunity.

Responsibilities:
– Provide guidance and direction on software engineering across coding practices, design patterns, deployment, and production support.
– Manage and lead the development team (both onshore and offshore) and vendor on engineering development, technical direction, architectural framework, and strategy.
– Manage the continuous improvement of the existing systems and streamline the software development process.
– Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business needs and their requirements
– Maintain a strong interest in current and emerging digital technologies, and be the focal point of new innovative technologies.

Requirements:
– 6+ years of mobile app development experience, ideally enterprise-level applications
– Hands-on hybrid mobile app development experience ideally using React Native, Typescript or JavaScript
– Mobile Development management experience is a must
– Familiar with Agile, Scrum
– Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
– Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
