My client, a leading investment bank, is actively seeking a development manager to join their expanding prime brokerage business.

The role:
– Define and implement strategic vision & goals aligned with business and IS strategy.
– Understand the global IT picture and architecture to assess how this can be integrated into the information system (New product, new applicative feature, etc…)
– Improve the team capacity to support/deliver and meet the evolving business needs.
– Coach and lead team members to contribute to delivery and success
– Coordinate / manage projects and change related to the IT FO Information system enhancement and involve several teams (Other projects team, Development, Production teams, Infrastructure, etc.)
– Enforce high production standards and ensure strong IT monitoring, stability, capacity and resiliency
– Enforce technical architecture standards

What you offer:
– Proven years of development experience
– Experience managing a team
– Exposure in Prime Brokerage/ Delta One / Equity Financing / Equity Derivatives is highly preferred. Candidates from other business lines will be considered.
– Strong Communication and leadership skills with a proven track record in delivering sound IT services and solutions
– Must be creative and innovative and propose better solutions whenever possible
– Open-minded and curious to rationalize the existing setup
– Aware and curious about new technologies to share their benefits and explore them with the team/business
– Strong listening and analysis capacities to assess the existing situation
– Visionary, proactive and passionate about technology, to propose a meaningful approach
– Excellent communication to interact with other IT peers in Paris and HK
– Strong team player, able to work with senior stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes
– Well-organized and good business analysis and project management skills
– Proven experience with Agile, Software Craftsmanship, and Cloud Native Applications design
