Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a talented Perl Developer to join their Unix tools development team. The selected candidate would be part of their global team responsible for Perl Script development. Great potential and remuneration.

Responsibilities:
– Develop remote access and management tools for the distributed Linux / Solaris system
– Responsible on the end-to-end development with requirement collections, design and implementation
– Acted as applications owner on training and deployment
– Manage tools integration and maintenance on OS (Red Hat Linux / Solaris), configuration management, system services (DNS / DHCP / LDAP), file systems (AFS / NFS / Cluster file systems)

Requirements:
– 5+ years experience of advance Linux / Unix scripting using Shell and Perl Script
– Able to write robust and maintainable object oriented application in Perl
– Good knowledge of Linux / Unix System concepts including: I/O and terminal control, native file / directory access controls, client/server-type network programming and Inter-process communication
– Extensive knowledge on UNIX OS, network and storage
– Knowledge of visualization technology
– Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
– Bachelor degree from a reputed University
