Our client, a global investment bank in HK, is looking for an experienced development manager with proven experience in Equities OTC Options systems development, successful delivery, and leadership/management. It is a team leadership role with an ambitious expansion plan.

Responsibilities:
– Manage/lead a team of developers to deliver a high-performance Equity OTC Options platform
– Perform functional and technical design and develop high-performance Java and Python applications on Linux
– Provide technical expertise/advice on system design, architecture, and code review for the team
– Work closely with key stakeholders for business requirements
– Create technical and functional specifications and documentation
– Provide system operation and support for users

Requirements:
– Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields
– At least 10+ years of technology experience; At least 5+ years in hands-on system development in the trading system space.
– Extensive knowledge of the lifecycle of Equity Options and Structured Products.
– Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Python.
– Good technical exposure to distributed systems, Spring framework, Linux, SQL/database, etc.
– Experience with Bloomberg / Reuters APIs for market data and reference data.
– Proven management and leadership experience
– Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
