Our client is a major MNC Consulting Firm in Hong Kong, they have strong expansion strategies with Digital Transformation in their markets. They are currently looking for an Oracle DBA to deliver and implement large-scale Digital strategies and projects for their clients.

Responsibilities:
– Provide application database administration, configuration, tuning and maintenance, troubleshooting of large-scale Oracle databases farm.
– Experience with Oracle Database 12c or above
– Provide production support on Databases in Unix environments.
– Review SQL development written by the development teams
– Responsible for investigating and diagnosing production issues or outages. Manage technical incidents and status reporting.
– Provide support and implementation work to application teams including database setup, schema changes, and SQL performance analysis.
– Review the security controls which ensure the safety of the database.

Requirements:
– At least 5 years of experience in DBA or database development with Oracle Database.
– Development experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
– Oracle DB Server administration, performance tuning, database integrity, blocking and deadlocking issue, replication, log shipping, connectivity, etc.
– Experience in Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL profiler etc.
– Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese.
– University degree in Computer Science, or relevant field.
