Our client, leading global bank is looking for a high caliber Operational Risk Management Lead to support their risk management and regulatory across their APAC region. You will be a lead person to manage the Asia Operational Risk Management function.

Responsibilities:
– Provide oversight of front line operations risk management to make sure they are effective across the bank.
– Review and associate the latest regulatory requirements which would be required to bring effective change in operational risk management.
– Provide control and review of existing front line defense including external fraud, safety, and physical security, transaction processing and execution, data management, risk assessment policies etc.
– Lead the operational risk management function in defining the risk management framework.
– Constantly review and understand the regulatory requirements from regional regulators and actively review the bank’s risk frameworks.
– Lead and build the risk management team in Asia.
– Lead the review of regulatory issues related to Operational Risk Management and drive resolution toward these regulatory changes.

Requirements:
– Leadership experience in Operational Risk Management and Control with a sizeable financial institution.
– Solid experience in managing operational risk, control as well as managing the second line of defense.
– Good leadership and influencing skill, experience in leading an operational risk team.
– In-depth experience working with APAC regulators including HKMA, MAS, JFSA, CBRC etc.
– Experience working with senior-level stakeholders.
– Excellent communication skills in English.
– Degree from a Reputable University.
