A leading investment bank is now looking for multiple KDB Developers for their fast-expanding FICC/ Equities trading teams. You will work closely with front-office users to deliver critical low-latency front-office pricing/trading solutions to the eFX/ Equities algo trading business.

Responsibilities:
– Design, develop and deliver cross-asset KDB solutions for eFX/ Equities businesses, with peripheral technologies including python, Shell, Hadoop, and related technologies
– Responsible for data analytics and developing reporting tools based on existing database
– Maintain stability and reliability of the database
– Work closely with business users and different stakeholders to understand the requirements and deliver relevant solutions

Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science/Engineer
– 2+ years experience in managing databases. Junior candidates will be considered for the AVP roles, while senior candidates for the VP role
– Good knowledge of KDB+/Q/R across topics such as tp, rdb, hdb, and tick data storage.
– Diversity candidates with a solid understanding of data structure, algo, and design patterns in any OOP language (C++/ Java/ C#) / Python/ Scala, with a strong desire to learn KDB, will also be considered.
– Solid knowledge of Unix/ Linux operating systems
– Understanding FX/EM/Rates/Equities would be a big plus
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
