Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for Software Engineers with Node.JS experience to implement various new initiatives in the insurance space. This role would also require full-stack development including frontend on ReactJS or VueJS. Great opportunity and challenge.

Responsibilities:
– Take part in life insurance software applications across development, implementations, and support.
– Provide hands-on technology development on Java-based Technology, Node.JS, and Javascript.
– Responsible for solution design and technical details for the applications.
– Work with highly skilled developers, BAs, and QAs.
– Responsible for the technical design and development across Front to Back. Manage database structures and design.
– Work with various IT teams including Security, Infra & Cloud, Operations, and Architecture in aligning the application solutions.

Requirements:
– Hands-on development experience with around 2 – 6 years of experience.
– Hands-on experience in Java, Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
– Hands-on experience in front-end technologies, such as React JS and Vue JS, proficient in HTML5, and CSS3 and using Webpack to pack Node JS frontend components.
– Hands-on experience with Cloud, API, and Microservices technology.
– Strong SDLC experience across software integration, testing, and quality assurance.
– Experience with Agile and CI/CD is a great plus.
– Excellent communications skill in Cantonese / Mandarin and English.
– Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
