Our client is one of the leading financial institutions with a strong business and technology presence in Hong Kong and APAC.  The selected candidate will be joining a team responsible for supporting their core network, and network security, and assisting with the cloud transformation (IaaS).

Responsibilities:
– SME to support firmwide network infrastructure; including Cisco, network security (Palo Alto, and Fortigate), network proxy, load balancers, network analytics & diagnostics etc.
– Hands-on role including network installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.
– Assist the team to engage and deliver Cloud Transformation and infrastructure for the Bank’s Cloud Platform (IaaS).
– Follow the change management process to implement network changes.
– Liaise with vendors for problem resolution, services and costs.
– Maintain and update network technical documentation.

Requirements:
– At least 6+ years of hands-on network engineering and support experience.
– Data network expertise covering Cisco routers and switches, TCP/IP, and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
– Experience in network security (Palo Alto, Fortigate), load balancers, network monitoring and troubleshooting.
– Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), SD-WAN and MPLS is a great plus.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related discipline).
– Certification in CCNP or CCIE is a definite advantage.
– Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.  Mandarin is also a plus.
