Our client, a global investment bank in Hong Kong, is looking for a Managing Director / Senior ED. Excellent remuneration and exposure

Responsibilities:
– Oversee the EQ Execution stack for Asia including OMS, Connectivity, Risk, etc.
– Spearhead and formulate architectural road map, solution design, technology strategy to support/implement the business vision
– Lead a large technology team (50+) of highly skilled developers, support engineers, and infrastructure engineers in Asia
– Provide Risk and Compliance management across the EQ technology division. Formulate guidance, procedure, and standard for internal teams
– Drive and define future technology strategy and road map
– Work closely with senior business stakeholders and build a trusted partnership
– Collaborate with regional and global teams to drive regional initiatives/goals in a way that is consistent with global strategy

Requirements:
– Proven technology management and leadership experience in front office trading technology; Cash EQ experience is a must
– Strong technical background; Ability to make a tangible contribution to architecture/design key technical decisions; Someone who comes from a development background in the past
– Sound financial industry knowledge and experience in a highly mission-critical environment
– Strong team leadership, able to drive high-performance team, people development, and retention.
– Strong personality and character to engage and influence both the IT and business communities.
– Excellent communications skill in English and the ability to build a relationship with global senior stakeholders
– Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline from a reputable University.
