Looking for an expert c/c++/linux developer with proven background in electronic trading and/or high-performance computing; You will work on cutting-edge green-field trading systems for high-frequency quantitative clients

This role can be based in Hong Kong, Tokyo, or Sydney.

Responsibilities:
– Work on advanced system development of the low-latency, high throughput electronic trading system
– Manage functional design and technical design across the new applications development.
– Design and plan system build, architecture, development and implementation.
– Build strong client relationship w/ front office users (traders, quants, desk) of all levels
– Provide technology ideas and approaches on functional and technical levels.
– Provide feasibility, proof-of-concept evaluation to ensure the solution is matching what the business need.

Requirements:
– Proven years of server-side development experience with C/C++
– Extensive experience in Linux based C++ development
– Extensive knowledge in application architecture and design
– Proven knowledge with high throughput and low latency application design and development
– Proficiency in scripting using python, perl, and/or shell
– Experience w/ automated testing and build processes
– Previous development experience of client connectivity / order management / smart order routing systems is a plus
– Understanding of FIX protocol and other Asia Exchange protocols is a plus
– Someone from the telecommunications space with experience in low latency C development will also be considered
– Excellent fluency in English; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to interact with front office users / desk
