Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a talented Linux Engineer to join their global Web Hosting team. The selected candidate would be part of their global team with large responsibilities across the global infrastructure. Great potential and remuneration.

Responsibilities:
– Provide and manage Level 3 support for enterprise Web Hosting Operations in a global environment.
– Manage and support web hosting products for Entitlements, Configuration, and Distributed Services Management.
– Support Linux and Windows Web Plants, including proxy servers and Load Balancers, and Authentication products.

Requirements:
– Strong experience and understanding of Linux Operating System, preferably RedHat.
– Strong Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, including HTTP and DNS.
– Knowledge of programming languages including Perl, Python or Java is highly preferable.
– Knowledge of security implementations such as Kerberos, DMZ, SSL, firewalls, proxy servers.
– Knowledge of Linux lightweight containers and virtualization.
– Knowledge of load-balancing and working with content delivery networks to improve the reliability and reduce the latency.
– Excellent oral and written English Communications skill and interpersonal skills. This person will be collaborating with global teams.
