Our client, a leading global Tier-1 bank, is looking for a Linux or UNIX Engineer to join their infrastructure team. The selected candidate would be part of their global team with large responsibilities across the global infrastructure. Great potential and remuneration.

Responsibilities:
– Provide and manage Level 3 Support for Linux or UNIX in a global environment
– Responsible for engineering projects including architecture design and build, planning, installations, configurations, upgrades and planning. Working with global team to ensure a smooth project deployment.

Requirements:
– 5-10 years of proven high-performance, advanced Linux/Unix admin experience
– Excellent Linux System knowledge including performance optimization, clustering, robustness, high-frequency trading, etc
– Knowledge of Unix Operating System (Solaris)
– Knowledge of network administration
– Strong knowledge of Perl (and/or other scripting languages)
– Can-do attitude and ability to learn quickly
– Strong business-facing and interaction skills are required
– Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
– Energetic; Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
