Our client, one of the leading global firms in Technology and Finance, are currently looking for a strong Lead Windows Engineer to join their team.  This is high profile, client facing role well suited for a strong engineers looking to step up and take their career into team management.

Responsibilities:
– Technical lead for the design and implementation of Windows environment: infrastructure build-outs and hands-on installation / configuration / migrations (including proprietary cloud platform).
– Contact point for all escalations and technical problems from the engineering team: day-to-day issues on Windows (Windows Server and Windows Workstation), AD, Exchange, VMWare, Citrix, Cisco networking and Storage.
– Hire, manage and develop a team of engineers.  Growing the teams’ technical skills and help develop their professional careers.
– Work, communicate and be part of a global technology team.

Requirements:
– At least 5+ years experience in a hands-on, engineering role (installation, configuration and troubleshooting/support): Windows Server 2008 / 2012, AD and Exchange Server 2010 / 2012, Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V or Citrix), SAN Storage (NetApp, EMC, Hitachi).
– Designing, planning and leading a team of engineers to build servers (PowerEdge or Proliant) and execute Windows Server migrations, Exchange migrations, office build outs and/or re-locations.
– Automation and scripting using Powershell, VB or batch.
– Additional expertise in Networking (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls) and Databases (MS SQL Server) a definite advantage.
– University degree in Computer Science (or related).
– Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English (facing clients/senior management) and Cantonese (colleagues & vendors) a must.
