Our client, a leading Asset Manager, is looking for a Lead Security Operations person to join their global team. The successful candidate will provide leadership, be responsible for incident response, security investigation and analytics. The role will also include administration of major information security technologies

Responsibilities:
– Ensure that the Enterprise Security Systems are optimized and running well.
– Advise business & technology users on technology risk policies/standards to ensure that the security principles are understood; Ensure that security solutions are adopted by the users.
– Manage team / escalation procedures / rules and alerts for drive security monitoring.
– Work closely with senior key stakeholders to report high-priority risk issues and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
– Review potential risk exposure across infrastructure and technology vendors.
– Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements of the region in order to conduct internal self-assessments and gap analysis and ensure compliance.
– Perform vulnerability scans / enforce security policies and deploy security tools including Malware detection tools, etc.
– Plan and drive the IS audit plan across various scope, where it can focus on high risk domains.

Required:
– At least 10 or more years of technology experience, either in technology risk/security, infrastructure or application development.
– Strong knowledge of risk control frameworks, risk management practices and regulatory requirements.
– Hands-on experience with one of the major SIEM platforms in use i.e Splunk, Q1Radar, Arcsight
– Excellent understanding and experience across broad spectrum of technologies – including operating system, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Messaging.
– Scripting and development skills (Powershell, VBscript, Rest or SOAP web services a plus)
– Ability to work effectively as part of the global team supporting a wide technology community.
– At least one security certification (CISSP, CEH, GCIA, CISM, etc.)
