
Our client, a leading insurance group is looking for a Lead IT Business Analyst to manage the latest transformation programme with Agile methodology. The selected candidate will be the key person in driving the business analysis between the business team and the engineering team. Great exposure and opportunity.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the business analysis and work with the business in translating the business needs into documentation and requirement specifications. Also, manage the Agile methodology and adoption across the projects.
– Work with the Development team in managing the Agile process across each sprint.
– Act as key expertise in assisting the business to establish the right product journey. Lead the establishment of user stories and product catalogs.
– Perform requirement collections and specifications with business users, and prepare technical specifications according to the requirements.
– Identify technical integration on a business analysis level. Assist the business in communicating with the engineering team in integrating various data sources, API connections, and process transitions.
– Identify business users’ objectives, processes, products, and services through business analysis activities.
– Prepare product design and requirements documentation.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University.
– At least 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or related technology experience
– Experience in leading a business analysis across a large-scale enterprise technology program.
– Solid knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g. mainframe, client-server, relational databases, and web-based /app architectures)
– Experience in delivery of the SDLC model in the Agile framework.
– Broad understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital solutions.
– Industry experience in Insurance or/and Banking would be a great plus.
– Knowledge of CRM platforms like Salesforce would be a great plus.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Fluency in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese) is essential.
