Our client, a Tier-1 investment bank, is now looking for a KDB/C++ Developer for their Algo Trading team. This role is part of the global team to build data-driven risk control systems for their algo trading desk.

Candidates without KDB experience and willing to learn in a steep learning curve is also welcome.

Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the Algo trading desks and quantitative strategists to design, develop, deploy and support the KDB plant.
– Build the platform with a full application lifecycle which is in a fast-paced, high-stakes agile development environment.
– Work closely with global business users and different stakeholders to understand the requirements and deliver relevant solutions

Requirements:
– Core Q/KDB+ Development experience. (Candidate without KDB experience would also be considered)
– Strong C++ development experience in Unix.
– Knowledge of building/managing processes in Linux environment.
– Experience with debugging/performance tuning in KDB.
– Track record working in a front-office environment with trading and quantitative strategists is good to have.
– Scripting language such as Perl/Python/Shell.
– Degree in Computer Science from a reputable University.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
