Our client, a leading Banking Group, is rapidly expanding their technology team in Singapore and is currently looking for an IT Security / Cyber Security Engineer to support Cyber Security functions. The successful candidate will join a global team and be a part of large-scale expansion and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in monitoring security alerts and incidents, and work with the team to respond effectively to security threats.
– Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
– Support efforts to raise security awareness among employees by helping with training initiatives and communications.
– Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
– Gain familiarity with security tools and technologies used for monitoring, intrusion detection, and prevention.
– Maintain accurate documentation of security procedures, incidents, and responses.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into projects and systems.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of cybersecurity.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Familiarity with security tools and technologies is a plus.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)) are a bonus but not required for entry-level candidates.
