We are working with a major financial institution in Hong Kong, where they are building some innovative Fintech platforms bringing a big impact here. They are looking for Backend Developers to join their core technology team. The selected candidate will be building their Cloud-Native technology with Microservices technology. Responsibilities:
– Build a clean and easy-to-use API technology platform that allows the application to integrate with all the required systems and services.
– Drive the PaaS development and build APIs which share with development teams.
– Write and utilize autonomous services-oriented RESTful API and event-driven microservices using Kafka.
– Write high-quality, maintainable code using TDD and DDD.
– Build database systems across SQL and NoSQL databases.

Requirements:
– Extensive development background across backend development in languages across Java, Koltin, or Scala.
– Cloud exposure with AWS.
– Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles like SOLID.
– Experience in database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g. PostgreSQL, S3 etc)
– Familiar with Agile and DevOps practice and principles. TDD, CI/CD and other approaches to accelerate software delivery.
– Familiar with the Open Sources technologies.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Chinese and English.
– Engineering Degree from a reputable University.
