Our client, one of the leading banks here in Hong Kong, is now keen to meet with and hire a strong IT Support Specialist to join their firm and help support their users across the bank.

The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting end-users across the bank (including the trading floor and front office).  International Environment. Great career potential and growth.

Responsibilities:
– Provide L2 helpdesk and deskside end-user technical support.  Conduct troubleshooting on hardware and software.
– Respond to telephone/email/instant messenger enquiries from internal users on technical support, troubleshooting and resolution.
– Hands-on role including installation (PC, laptop/notebook, software etc), configuration, systems testing and day-to-day support covering end-user desktop & business applications.
– Routine hardware and software maintenance for the end user space.
– Manage IT Inventory and maintain proper records.
– Participate in infrastructure-related projects.

Requirements:
– 2 to 3+ years experience in a Technical Support / Helpdesk role in an enterprise environment.  Banking / Finance experience is a plus.
– Experience in supporting computer hardware (PC, server, laptop/notebook and mobile & handhelds) and software (Windows Desktop, Office 2016 / O365, etc.) and back-end infrastructure administration (Windows Server, AD, Exchange, networking).
– Bachelor in Computer Science, IT (or related).
– Proactive and positive attitude.  Excellent customer service-oriented mindset.
– Strong verbal and written communications skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
