Our client, a leading global bank, is looking for an IT COO to join their APAC Technology Office based in Singapore. The successful candidate will have regional oversight on daily management, finance & budgeting, talent management, and PMO for the technology organization. Reporting directly to the CIO. Extremely high-profile and excellent remuneration.

Requirements:
– Work with the CIO and IT Leadership to drive key metrics in reviewing performance and efficiency.
– Manage day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the technology organization across APAC.
– Implement indicators, metrics, and reporting to review the technology performance and efficiency, and identify under-performance areas across the firm.
– Manage the IT Finance function across planning, forecasting, and expenses tracking across the firm. Manage the Finance Control function with regular review.
– Establish Demand Assessment, Capacity Management, and Resource Planning across the IT organization
– Manage the talent management and resource management in response to different delivery needs. Provide insight on location strategy including hiring tracking, organizational moves and office occupancy planning.
– Manage the communications with global technology leadership, business partners, and stakeholders.
– Oversee firm-wide PMO and ensure sufficient control/governance on all high-profile projects

Requirements:
– At least 10 years of experience in IT business management, budgeting/forecast, resource management, PMO, sourcing, etc.
– Previous experience in technology and the banking and financial field is preferred.
– Experience in leading technology operations to greatly improve team performance, culture, and efficiency.
– Excellent analytical and financial accounting skills, ability to analyze the financial number and accounting data.
– Exposure to the latest technology stack and software engineering including Cloud, AI/ML, Blockchain would be a great plus.
– Ability to influence senior management and leaders on driving changes.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
