Our client, one of the leading financial firms here in Hong Kong, is looking for a strong project manager to join the team and help manage their ongoing infrastructure and data center projects.  The successful candidate will be managing project delivery across a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:
– Manage project delivery including Servers (Unix & Windows), Virtualization, Network, and Data Center environment.
– Work with the technical teams, business units, and application teams to drive end-to-end execution (from project initiation and feasibility studies, through to successful delivery)
– Manage Infrastructure projects including major server upgrades, patching, security hardening, OS refreshment, network and data center migration etc.
– Liaise and communicate with various stakeholders including Business, Finance, IT, Operations, etc.
– Identify potential project risks and define the right mitigation strategy.
– Manage the project budget, and cost management according to internal business management rules.
– Work with senior management on communications, project updates, and escalation.

Requirements:
– Between 5 to 7 years of experience in hands-on project management for large enterprise infrastructure.  Banking or Finance is a plus.
– Extensive skills in planning, budgeting, tracking, status reporting, stakeholder management, etc.
– Understanding of various technology platforms across Servers, Unix, Wintel, VMWare, Network infrastructure etc.
– Understanding of server and infrastructure management, especially within a Data Center and Regional setting.
– Large enterprise Infrastructure experience is required.
– Cloud experience is a definite advantage.
– PMP or Prince2 is preferred.
– Strong communication and soft skills are a must.  Articulate and able to communicate with senior executives.  Written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
– Bachelor in IT and/or Business Management from a reputable University.
