Looking for a seasoned developer with proven front office development background in finance to join a global buy-side firm in Hong Kong. Excellent remuneration and growth opportunity

Our client, a leading global buy-side firm, is looking for an experienced developer with proven front office experience to join their growing team in HK. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, quants, and traders to deliver a global, strategic multi-asset front office trading platform.

Responsibilities:
– Provide design/architecture, development and support of front office trading systems / platform
– Work with global teams to solve business problems and create strategically aligned technology solutions
– Build trusted relationship with business users and stakeholders to understand and deliver their requirements
– Maintain and support existing production systems

Requirements:
– Proven experience in the financial industry (banking, hedge fund, etc)
– Front Office / mission-critical development experience (any asset) is essential
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– The successful candidate will be experienced in implementing trading systems and real time applications using OOD language (Any one of Java, python, c#, c++)
– Strong knowledge and experience in developing applications including Linux
– Agile development practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience with one or more of Java, FIX, Python, C++, C# and Java APIs
– Experience with Enterprise databases
