Our client, a leading fund is looking for an Investment Risk Manager to assess, measure, monitor and report the company’s market, credit and operational risk profiles. You will be working with the deal team closely to provide critical input in major investments.

Responsibilities:
– Support CRO in risk oversight and ensure that risk is identified, authorised and compensated for all alpha activities
– Ensure that all investment risks in alpha activities are identified, measured and monitored
– Develop and implement portfolio risk analytics across a range of qualitative and quantitative risk metrics, and stress testing approaches to ensure portfolio risk is appropriately managed
– Provide independent assessment on large deals
– Advise and implement frameworks and policies in the management of investment risk
– Provide periodic risk and performance updates to senior management

Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical or investment-related role
– Strong quantitative skills in analyzing large data sets, ideally with tools like Python/ R/ SQL
– Business domain knowledge in Equities, Real-estate, or Private Equity
– Persuasive communicator with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, market views and technical topics
– FRM/ CFA etc certificates are preferred
– Degree up to BSc or MSc in Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitatively inclined field
