My client is a leading bank in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Head of IT Operations and Infrastructure Services to manage their overall operations including Data Center, Infrastructure, Service Management, and Security. Exciting role with a sizeable operations team management. A challenging position with great leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities:
– Responsible for the entire IT operations across Infrastructure, Servers, Databases, Data Center, Service Management, Security, etc.
– Formulate overall IT Operations strategy and management over the IT Operations division.
– Lead the senior team leaders and architects to resolve bottlenecks, weaknesses, restrictions, and security concerns imposed by the current Infrastructure and Operations setup.
– Establish operations support framework for the systems across change management, availability management, capacity management, asset management, and configuration management.
– Establish operations and service management framework and maintenance standards, policies, procedures, and best practices across the firm.
– Ensure the infrastructure and operations solutions meet both functional and technical requirements with design and planning on future maintenance, cost, performance scalability, and compliance.
– Responsible for coordinating with external regulators and auditors on related regulations matters. Ensure the operations model is fulfilling the HKMA requirements.
– Work with external vendors and service products across project development and system maintenance.
– Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the technology team, business, IT teams, and service providers.
– Formulate IT budget, resources management, control, and governance.

Required Skills/Experience:
– Extensive working experience in managing large-scale IT Operations and Infrastructure in a large banking environment.
– Extensive leadership experience in managing a large IT service and operations team.
– Extensive experience in leading infrastructure service implementation and delivery.
– Experience in managing data center migration and relocations projects.
– Sound technical knowledge across server computing, networks, storage, middleware, security, and end-user computing.
– Strong project management experience in driving large-scale IT Operations programmes.
– Strong vendor and project management skills.
– Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
