We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our client as the Head of IT. As the leading Crypto Digital Asset Company, our client is at the forefront of technological advancements in the financial industry. The Head of IT will play a critical role in strategically managing and enhancing the IT infrastructure to support their rapid growth and ensure cutting-edge technological capabilities.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement an overarching IT strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives, taking into consideration the unique requirements of a Crypto Digital Asset Company.
– Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
– Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies and systems to drive operational efficiency and enhance our digital capabilities.
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications.
– Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for IT operations, security, and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology-related challenges, provide strategic guidance, and support business processes and initiatives.
– Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality IT services.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry, evaluating their potential impact on the business and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
– Proven experience in a senior leadership position, overseeing IT operations and strategy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
– Strong knowledge and understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets.
– Demonstrated experience managing and leading high-performing IT teams, including remote teams.
– Extensive experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing enterprise-class systems, infrastructure, and security solutions.
– Deep understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
– Proactive and forward-thinking mindset, with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
