Our client, a leading blockchain firm in HK, is looking for a Head of Engineering. Excellent business-facing exposure!

Responsibilities:
– As a technology and innovation leader, overseeing the Engineering function including strategic planning & development, people and budgetary management.
– Manage a team of developers, BA/PMs to implement new innovative solutions
– Clearly communicate key features, and changes to key stakeholders
– Responsible for Company IT operations, not limited to system enhancement, administration, infrastructure, application software, security & risk assessment.
– Ensure secure and scalable architectural solutions
– Help provide experience resolving technical issues
– Provide technical strategy/direction; Make architectural design and emerging technology adoption decisions
– Work with the Development team to provide expertise and assess the quality
– Work with cross-territory teams and clients
– Sharing best practices and the latest technology trends with the team

Requirements:
– Over 5 years of experience in software development or program/project management with a leadership role.
– Excellent core Java design and development skills
– A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar or equivalent practical experience
– Proven Technical lead experience on large projects
– Ability to clearly present ideas to C-suite stakeholders
– Provide innovative business and technical solutions to optimise benefits to clients with security considerations in mind
– Working experience guiding software through security and penetration test sign-off
– Track record of excellent organisational skills to prioritize and execute projects with cross-functional teams
– Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
