Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for a strong distributed scheduling or a UI developer to build enterprise-level innovative tech solutions, tools, practices and systems used across the organization.

Responsibilities:
– Design/Implement a schedule based cross-platform distributed computing system, Grid computing with a focus on either the backend using Java/ Golang/ Erlang or the frontend using HTML/ JavaScript/ TypeScript
– Partner with and provide technical guidance on best practices to the internal engineering community, the business teams, and the operations team

Qualifications;
– Proven experience with either Golang, Erlang, Java, Python, C++, or HTML5/ JavaScript/ TypeScript/ Node.js (3+ years of experience)
– Knowledge in running key business applications on Linux platforms and Linux internals
– Experience with all stages in the lifecycle of developing and running large distributed systems
– BSc / MSc / PhD in relevant field (Computer Science, Maths, Physics)
– Great communication skills
