Our client, a leading tier one American Bank, is actively seeking a strong core java developer to join their expanding Equity Derivatives Technology team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various greenfield projects and gain exposure to big data technologies.

What you offer:
– At least 3+ years of commercial development experience in Java
– The ability to quickly pick up new ideas, concepts and technologies.
– Experience in developing, deploying and maintaining commercial service oriented application(s).
– Experience of full project lifecycle, breaking requirements down into technical deliverables and effort estimation.
– Ability to work effectively within a global team (EMEA, APAC) whilst influencing and contributing towards the development of the global platform.
– Python development experience advantageous
– Exposure working in a front office environment within financial services a plus. Experienced developers from outside of finance will also be considered.
– Understanding of equity derivative products a plus
– Experience with Big Data technologies a plus
